- Get Involved
At Grand St. Settlement, we guide children from birth to age five and their parents through the most important years, ensuring school readiness and nurturing a life-long love of learning.
Health + Habits
Our focus on good health and habits means we provide nutritious meals daily, offer health screenings, and work to ensure families can access insurance, care and support.
We specialize in nurturing the academic knowledge, communication skills, independence, and social-emotional development children need to do well in school.
We provide caring education for learners at every developmental level – and we’re an NYC leader in providing services to children with delays and special needs. We help every child start school with every possible advantage.
Be a part of conversations and decisions, spend time in the classroom, and join us for workshops and family events to stay connected. This is a partnership between staff and families with many opportunities to volunteer, develop new skills, and help set policies and directions.
Family Resources and Support
Workshops and events give parents the skills and information they need to be at their best. From we create a community of support and inclusion. We help parents set and achieve their goals from parenting tips to family fun and bonding to job training and employment. Services are provided in English, Spanish and Chinese.
With over 60 years’ experience as a leader in early care and education, we know the most important part of creating a nurturing learning environment is investing in amazing staff. Between professional development, continual training, and all the right certifications, our team loves learning as much as teaching.
Finding Your Advocate
We help families navigate education systems, social services, and mental wellness options. Our teachers and family workers advocate for individual needs of every child, and help you support their development.
